Anime Stars Hero Tier List
The Anime Stars hero tier list ranks every confirmed hero by how it carries worlds, bosses, and co-op challenges. Tier opinions are community-reported from 2026 gameplay videos — exact odds are not developer-published.
Quick answer
Start with the S-tier carries Mihawk and Garo — star them up, equip your best Relics, and prioritize their evolution. A-tier heroes like Kizaru, Shanks and Saitama are reliable mid-game picks worth building; the rest are solid transitions until you roll a top-tier carry.

How the tiers work
Tiers rank heroes by carry value in the current release build. S = meta carries worth your first rolls; A = strong reliable; B = situational; C = beginner fillers.

What each tier means
S-Tier: the carries your whole squad is built around — the Heroes you star up first, give your best Relics, and push into the hardest content. In Anime Stars the meta is decided by how fast they clear worlds and bosses and how well they scale at higher star levels.
A-Tier: excellent starters and mid-game carries; very reliable for farming the gems and gold that fund your next S-tier pull. Evolve them when the roster starts to thin.
B-Tier: useful as an early filler or the role you happen to be missing, but not the Heroes you should pour every star into — rotate them out once an S or A arrives. C-Tier: a budget option for your first rolls to clear the opening world, but they fall off as enemies scale.
How to use this list
Don't reroll endlessly for one secret hero. Pick the S- or A-tier carry you can star up today, spend your first gems on starring it and on a Relic (the first island has a Relic behind the castle), and raise the rest as more rolls come in via auto-roll. Tier reflects clear speed, survival in deeper worlds, and boss utility — and every placement here is community-reported until a dated official source confirms it.
A realistic path to S-tier
S-tier heroes are the endgame core — they are NOT fast to get. As an early player, take your first rolls, build a solid A/B starter, and push worlds for gems before chasing S-tier. Chasing a specific S-tier with limited rolls stalls your progression.
- S-tier is a late-game target, not a first-session goal.
- Use your first gems on the heroes you have that are A/B and worth evolving.
- Push worlds and co-op for gems and relic drops before rerolling for S-tier.
- The moment an update shifts the meta, this page re-ranks it from fresh gameplay.
