Level your main hero to 80
Every hero has a max level of 80. Each level adds to the power multiplier, so leveling your main carry is the biggest early power jump.

Stars are the most important island drop. Earn them from quests/hideout and a ~2% chance on certain waves (e.g. Shinobi Trial, Dragon Ride). Stars feed your hero's star-level upgrade.

Search each island for relics — the first island's relic is behind the castle. Each world has one; the last world's and the Dragon (Medium) relic give power. Equip one on your carry.
